Scott Fly Rod has a different vibe than most rod companies. Maybe it's because they had the idea to build a graphite 9ft 4 weight rod (original G series) that was considered impossible back in 1975. Or because Scott has always kept on making fiberglass rods next to the new wonder material called graphite. Or was the first, and still do, to make five piece rods for packing? Or they still offer rods in glass, graphite and bamboo?
