It has been a while the Dutch Fly Fair opened its doors. This mother of fly fishing shows, was canceled last year, and also the venue got relocated for this year's edition. The venue is a small trout farm in the northern part of the country.
The size of this year's edition is quite a lot smaller than it used to be. Especially the numbers of shops showing their goods has never been this low as far as I can recall. Back in the 1990's and 2000's there used to be many top tiers from the USA as well, like Chris Helm, Darwin Atkin, Marvin Nolte, Wayne Luallen and Dave Whitlock. No American tiers this edition. Anyway, the weather was splendid and it was great to meet old & new friends again.
That’s a wrap of the tying at fly fishing shows for this year for me.

Till next time...
